Concrete Pier Repairs for Bridge S-31 (Oceanic Bridge) Bingham Avenue Over Navesink River

Hydro-Marine Construction was awarded the contract for the installation of approximately 56 fiberglass pile jackets at Bridge S31 in 2016. The existing piles range in size and shape, mainly consisting of 20” to 22” reinforced concrete piles. The existing wrought iron collars and pile jackets need to be removed and the piles cleaned prior to installation of the new pile jackets.
Also included in the scope of work is the reconstruction/rehabilitation of a concrete pier. New formwork is to be placed for the installation of the reinforced concrete collar around the entire perimeter of the structure.
