In 2013, as part of the rehabilitation of the bridge, Hydro-Marine Construction Co., Inc. completed the installation of 70 pile jackets. Forty-Two  of the pile jackets were structural and twenty-eight  were protective jackets, each measuring 10 foot long. The extent of deterioration on the existing timber piles determined the type of jacket required. Both types of jacket were manufactured by Denso. In 2014, Hydro-Marine Construction Co., Inc. completed the repair of two bridges on Ohio Avenue which included repairs to the timber piles. Both bridges are constructed of timber pile pier bents with timber piles and retaining wall at the abutments. The bridges were immediately closed after W.J. In 2015 Hydro-Marine Construction Co., Inc. completed the underwater inspection and repair of the Long Branch Sewerage Authority Ocean Outfall Pipe in the Atlantic Ocean.

With the recent storms like Hurricane Sandy, the structure owners were concerned about preventing movement in the outfall pipe due to future storms. Pile Jacket Installation at JFK Bridge (EH-48) Over Risley Channel

In 2014, Hydro-Marine Construction Co., Inc. working as a subcontractor, completed the installation of 115 pile jackets at the bridge. The first eight piers are constructed of timber pile bents and the remaining piers are constructed of steel pipe piles.

Pile Jacket Installation for Battery Park City Authority

Battery Park, NY

In 2014 Hydro-Marine Construction Co., Inc. assisted in the installation of pile repair jackets on over 100 piles. Existing 20” square concrete piles were encased in fiberglass protective jackets. Epoxy fill material was pumped between the pile and jacket. Water depths in the work area ranged from 18 to 45 feet deep. All OSHA and ADC standards were followed to ensure the safety of the dive personnel.

Removal of 220LF of Cable at Garden State Parkway bridge

Cape May County, New Jersey

In 2013 Hydro-Marine Construction Co., Inc. completed the removal of a submarine power cable located at the Garden State Parkway Bridge in Cape Man for Atlantic City Electric. There was one energized cable and one de-energized cable.
